Advertiser Policy
Campaign content, destination, balance, and moderation rules.
Last updated June 20, 2026Allowed Campaigns
Campaigns should be clear, accurate, and relevant to a developer or AI-tool audience. The ad line must match the destination and must not impersonate Waitline, an AI vendor, a coding tool, or another advertiser.
Destination URLs must use HTTPS and must not lead to malware, credential theft, deceptive downloads, forced redirects, or misleading subscription flows.
Restricted Content
We may reject or remove campaigns involving illegal products, deceptive financial claims, adult sexual content, hate or harassment, malware, cloaking, counterfeit goods, invasive tracking, political persuasion, or content that is unsafe for a professional coding environment.
We may require stronger review for security tools, crypto, gambling, employment offers, financial products, health claims, or other regulated categories.
Delivery And Spend
Each campaign block buys a target number of verified impressions. Higher bids rank earlier in the serving queue but do not guarantee delivery timing, conversion, click-through rate, or exclusive placement.
Spend can be adjusted for invalid traffic, duplicate events, fraud, over-delivery, chargebacks, refunds, or operational corrections.
Enforcement
Waitline may pause, reject, suspend, reactivate, edit eligibility, or remove campaigns and advertiser organizations. Admin actions are audit logged.
Anyone can submit abuse reports for malware, phishing, deceptive destinations, copyright, privacy, harassment, adult content, or other policy concerns. Reports are reviewed by operators before enforcement.
Repeated policy violations can lead to advertiser organization suspension and removal from the serving index.
